The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson has launched her new range of jewellery in the US.
The collection known as Sarah Ferguson for K&G Creation also has a limited edition signature collection in Los Angeles at an exclusive department store.
The collection includes rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings made from Moissanite, which is a synthetically produced stone made to look like a diamond .
The Duchess has made it clear that a percentage of all sales will go to the Sarah Ferguson Foundation. This charity aims to help children around the world who live in poverty or are neglected.
Sarah Ferguson enthused, "Every time you put on a bit of Moissanite from my collection, you will bring a twinkle to a child's face."
The reason for her decision to launch her jewellery range in the US is because she says the US saved her life after her divorce from Prince Andrew in 1996 and she accumulated a huge amount of debt .
In America she was able to re-launch herself as a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers, a motivational speaker and a childrens author. As well as succeeding in these areas she also founded several childrens charities.
She added, "The American people saved my life and gave me back my life. So it is pretty nice to be able to give back to you and help your children because my foundation is not just for Africa but for the USA too.
Prices for the collection start at $400 for a pair of earrings.
