Dubai is famed for its love affair with jewellery so its no coincidence that they host the Dubai International Jewellery Week which showcases jewellery from around the world.
This year will have a three show format one of which will be Jewellery Collections Dubai.
The event will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 11 15 December. Exhibiting their new collections will be some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Al Masaood Jewellery, Amwaj, Damas, Dhamani, Euro Pearls, Forever, Jovial, Mahalatti, Pure Gold, Rosy Blue, Samra, Su-Raj, Taka and Thamina, to mention a few.
Trixee Loh, Exhibitions General Manager of Dubai World Trade Centre, the show's organiser said, "Coinciding the show dates with this time of the year adds an extra sparkle to the show, with Eid Al Adha and Christmas round the corner.
"It brings out the best in the exhibitors and also gives visitors the opportunity to choose from an array of international collections."
The Jewellery Collections Dubai will be the ideal place to find that perfect gift for someone you love. Guaranteed there will be something for everyone and the choice will be second to none. The show will allow visitors to be the first to see and buy unique jewellery and masterpeices before anyone else.
Harshad Mehta, Chairman of Rosy Blue said, "We, along with our retail partner Pure Gold, will be unveiling the Omri 'Journey of Love' pendant at the show, as we feel the timing and setting is perfect for such an exclusive product. It captures the mood of the season, and it will definitely appeal to people of all age groups."
There will also be a host of pavilions showcasing jewellery from around the world from countries such as Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Pakistan, Thailand and Turkey .
Some items on show will be timeless pieces, a perfect choice for someone looking to buy a particular piece as an investment or to pass down as family heirloom .
Glamour will be added to the event by renowned Canadian-Indian designers Sikha and Tsufa when they present a range of designer gowns studded with precious and semi precious stones .
The two other shows at this years event are Areeq Dubai and Jewellery Trade Dubai. While the Jewellery Collection show is the main retail event, these other shows are for traders attending the Dubai International Jewellery Week.
