Balagan Group has predicted some of the key jewellery trends that will be available in Spring/Summer 2009.
The supplier has said that one of the mega trends will be coloured silver, seen as either blackened or as a variation on coffee or chocolate silver. There will also be a variation in textures, with scratch and diamond finishes popular in the new colours, as well as the return of gold and silver mixed colours in jewellery pieces.
However, according to the group, the stand-out look will be big, bold, colourful jewellery which will complement the shapes that are in fashion . With this in mind, the company is promoting its avant-garde cocktail rings which are solid carved gemstones with a hole for the finger.
Balagan started out as a silver jewellery wholesaler and is now one of the leading design-led, fashion silver jewellery suppliers in the UK, with more than 1,800 accounts throughout the country.
