Brilliantly
Birmingham, an international
contemporary jewellery festival, returns for the ninth year to showcase a selection of original work by a selection of new and emerging designers-makers.
From November 28th until December 21st 2008, new contemporary
jewellery will be exhibited across Birmingham and the
West Midlands in a variety of venues and the public will be able to buy innovative and affordable
gifts directly from the designers during the
Christmas season.
The
Brilliantly Birmingham curated exhibition, Flux, now in its third year will exhibit a selection of the best new and emerging contemporary designer-makers from Britain and around the world. The search is on to find up to 30 designer-makers who will have the chance to exhibit among the best of new and emerging talent in the
world of jewellery . Competition is strong with over 100 designer-makers vying for up to 30 places. Last year's showcase saw exhibitors from destinations such as
Ireland and
Hong Kong, as well as rising designer-makers from the West Midlands.
