Fashion accessories designer Heidi Sturgess has joined forces with Camden Graphics, a subsidiary of UK Greetings and created a range of greetings cards which have a perspex charm attached that can be removed and kept.
Orders for the cards have already been placed by major high street stores such as Boots and Paperchase . Boots plan to sell the cards in all of its shops in Britain and will begin stocking the range in January.
Ms Sturgess is well known for her jewellery ranges which have attracted a celebrity following and says she is hoping to expand her range of printed products such as notebooks and greetings cards.
The charms on the cards, which are available through Camden Graphics, may be worn as jewellery or put onto a key ring . There will be eight charms in the series, which are a cherry, a butterfly, a cat, a shoe, a strawberry, a flower, a bird and a heart.
