The actress Joan Collins, best known for her role as shoulder-pad wearing super-bitch Alexis Carrington Colby in Dynasty during the 1980s, has chosen a South Wales company to control the marketing, sales and distribution of her new jewellery collection.
Timeless Elegance and Health in St Mellons, Cardiff, has won the worldwide licence to sell the collection of bracelets, brooches, earrings and rings, with every design having been approved by Ms Collins herself.
Products from the range will initially be available only from the newly-launched website, which has been developed for the company by a Cardiff software firm.
Speaking about her new jewellery range, Joan Collins said: "Show me a woman who doesn’t aspire to looking good and feeling great whatever her age. You don’t have to be a movie star to radiate glamour and elegance and you don’t have to be a millionaire to look a million dollars."
