Style guru Nick Ede will be hosting the UK Jewellery Awards this year. Celebrating the best of the British jewellery industry, the awards will be held on July 16 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
He has earned the nickname "the Simon Cowell of style" for his work as a judge on fashion programme Project Catwalk . As well as being the host of Living TV show Diet on the Dance Floor, the style expert on GMTV’s LK Today, he appears on UK Food’s Market Kitchen .
Ede has also designed an exclusive silver jewellery collection for retailer Hiho, as reported in the May issue of Retail Jeweller. The Lost and Found collection explores the theme of rediscovery and includes Message in a Bottle pendants and luggage tag-style dog tags . The jewellery has already picked up a celebrity following and stars such as Girls Aloud and Denise van Outen have been seen wearing pieces from the range.
