Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have teamed up with UK-based jewellers Asprey and will be launching a range of gold and silver jewellery and accessories.
Proceeds from the collection will be donated to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, an organisation co-founded by Jolie to raise money for educating child victims of war, conflict and natural disasters.
The jewellery collection will feature diamond-studded pendants, rings, baby spoons and picture frames . Every piece carries the motif of a serpent, an idea conceived by Jolie after she was given a ring, shaped as a snake, at the time of her first pregnancy with daughter Shiloh in 2006. The actress has called the line ‘The Protector collection’ and it will be available at the Asprey outlets in London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Dubai .
The couple have been heavily involved in charitable work since they announced that they were expecting their first child.
