Sekonda

Sekonda watches is a well known watch brand that has a long history, dating back to the early 20th century. It was founded by Alexander Margulies who came to England from Poland in 1931. Its headquarters is based in Leicester, UK.

The brand started with just a few Russian made mechanical watches and grew to become a household name in the 1960s.

With the advent of electronic technology, Sekonda changed the production of their watches from mechanical ones made in Russia to quartz battery watches in Asia.

The brand added more styles to their already popular lines, taking on board the fashion of the time and were producing stylish and quality watches at affordable prices. They are still a strong watch brand today with their designs created in Britain.
